Installing on a Mac
Install
Open the download and drag Featherweight Dictation into your Applications folder.
Open and sign in
Open Featherweight Dictation. A short guide walks you through signing in with your email or Google.
Allow two things
The microphone, so it can hear you, and Accessibility, so it can type where your cursor is.
Hold fn and talk
Let go, and your words are typed. That's the whole app.
Installing on Windows
Get it
Open Featherweight Dictation in the Microsoft Store and choose Get.
Open and sign in
Open it from Start. A short guide walks you through signing in with your email or Google.
Allow the microphone
If Windows asks, allow it, so it can hear you. There's nothing else to allow.
Hold Right Alt and talk
Let go, and your words are typed. Prefer Right Ctrl or Caps Lock? Choose it in the app.
